WCD2019 Ambassador Project

The Ambassador Project aim is to appoint distinguished dermatologists around the world that can promote among their colleagues the importance and relevance of WCD Congress. A platform will be created to share congress updates, making this an important occasion for networking too.

Three members of the Italian board have been appointed as Ambassador Coordinators:
Mrs. GABRIELLA FABBROCINI
Mr. GIUSEPPE MICALI
Mrs. ANTONELLA TOSTI

Ambassadors from Europe have been appointed during the 26th EADV Congress in Geneva. In such occasion the President of WCD2019, Professor Giovanni Pellacani, and the Secretary-General, Professor Ketty Peris, hosted a cocktail in the Palexpo Congress Venue in the presence of the ILDS President, Professor Harvey Lui and of the President of the Scientific Board Committee, Christopher Griffiths.

Ambassadors from South America have been appointed during an official Ceremony held in the Italian Embassy in Buenos Aires. In such occasion Mrs. Teresa Castaldo, and the President of WCD2019, Professor Giovanni Pellacani, hosted a cocktail in the Italian Embassy in the presence of the ILDS President, Professor Harvey Lui and of the President of the Scientific Board Committee, Christopher Griffiths, for the nomination of the “Ambassadors for WCD2019”.

Ambassadors from North America have been appointed during the AAD Congress in Orlando.

The Ceremony was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel during the cocktail hosted by ILDS and the 24th WCD Congress, in the presence of Prof. Giovanni Pellacani, Prof. Ketty Peris, and of the Ambassador Coordinators Antonella Tosti, Gabriella Fabbrocini e Giuseppe Micali.

The Honorary Consul of Italy in Orlando, Loredana Cicchetti, attended the Ceremony and awarded the Ambassadors.

Ambassadors from Asia and Middle East have been appointed during Dubai Derma Congress 2017 in Dubai. The Ceremony was held during the Gala Dinner at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in the presence of Prof. Ketty Peris and Prof. Giovanni Pellacani.
