Payment Policy

  • 30% along with the signed agreement
  • 40% within June 29th 2018
  • 30% within December 21st 2018

Cancellations Policy

  • For cancellation received within December 31st, 2017, the fees paid to date will be refunded, less administrative fee of € 1.000,00
  • For cancellation received on and after January 2018 and before December 2018, the fees paid to date will be refunded, less 50% of the sponsorship fee.
  • There will be no refund for cancellations received on or after January 2019.

All companies participating as Major Sponsors will be acknowledged in the Recognition Program as sponsors from the time of their initial contribution up to and throughout the Congress itself. In addition, Major Sponsors will receive special priority on booth space, symposia and additional sponsorship opportunities.

One of the highlights of the 24th World Congress of Dermatology, along with the Scientific Program, is the Exhibition, open to all registered participants, the Exhibition will offer unparalleled opportunities to present your latest products and services and make face-to-face contacts with leading dermatologists and key decision makers from around the world.

Exhibition Fees Include:

  • Use of the booth area during the four (4) days of Exhibition (including some after-hours access) and during the assembly and dismantling periods;
  • Information and coordinating services during booth assembly and dismantling periods and during the Exhibition;
  • Company listing in the Final Program and Congress website Exhibitor page
  • One complete congress bag
  • Each Exhibiting Company will receive the following quantity of exhibitor badges included in their space rental. Additional badges may be purchased at a rate of € 150,00+vat per badge and, if bought on site, at a rate of € 200,00+vat per badge

 

Sponsored & Satellite Symposia

Sponsored Symposia

Sponsored satellite symposia are not eligible for accreditation.

A Sponsored Symposium a 90 minutes session during the official program of the Congress. Only four parallel Sponsored Symposium will be held between 12:30-14:00 daily on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in a room with a 500 person capacity. The program of the symposium is organized by the sponsor, including title and faculty, but is subject to approval by the Organizing Committee. (Available to Diamond and Platinum Patrons on first priority.)

Satellite Symposia

Sponsored satellite symposia are not eligible for accreditation.

A Satellite Symposium is a scheduled session during the official program of the Congress. Satellite Symposia will be held in 75 minutes time slots on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 17:15 to 18:30. Room capacities will range between 250 and 1,000 delegates and are based on first come first served, with scheduling priority given to the major sponsors. The program of the symposia is organized by the sponsor, including title and faculty, but is subject to approval by the Organizing Committee. (Diamond, Platinum Patrons, and Gold Sponsors are entitled to complimentary satellite symposia as part of the recognition program. Complimentary symposia will take place in rooms with a seating capacity of 250 seats)

AIFA regulation for pharmaceutical companies

In Italy each pharmaceutical company which sponsors a meeting or a congress on topics in anyway related to the use of their own pharmaceutical products, must be submit to the competent Unit of the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) an application to obtain a specific authorization.

AIFA authorisation is necessary

  • for every pharmaceutical company (Marketing Authorisation Holder or the companies responsible for the actual marketing of pharmaceutical products) which sponsors a meeting or a congress on topics in anyway related to the use of their own pharmaceutical products.

AIFA authorisation is not necessary

  • when a company promotes by advertising only medical devices or food supplements during a congress (products without Marketing Authorisation)
  • when a company sponsors a meeting about arguments not related to the use of any of their own medicinal products; in this case the company is not allowed to expose or distribute any kind of advertising material during the meeting (Section 9 art. 124 D.L. n.219/06).

In order to obtain the authorization, an application containing the details of the expenses is to be submitted 60 days before the day of the meeting by the pharmaceutical company (Marketing Authorisation Holder or the companies responsible for the actual marketing of pharmaceutical products) to the competent Unit of Aifa, which will issue its approval after 45 days from the moment the application form has been received the authorization procedure is carried out through the Aifa website area ACC (authorization for congresses and meetings) and on this purpose, pharmaceutical companies must be registered.
